Two-Tone-Pinks original line up 1979 Picture taken in Hilton St rehearsal rooms in spring 1979.  From left to right: Haydn Rydings vocals, Graham Briggs Guitar, Mark Harris Bass, Dave Moore guitar, Pete Bates Drums. This line up performed together from March 1979 to  January 1980 until Pete Bates left and was replaced by Phil Rathbone "Raffy".

Two-Tone-Pinks 1979 Standing on the stairs of Hilton St rehearsal rooms. Many aspiring bands used these rooms during this period, Joy Division, A Certain Ratio, Fast Cars, Spherical Objects, Urban Blitz. This old Victorian building would shake  from top to bottom as  5 or 6 bands would be rehearsing at once and the noise was deafening! There is now a MacDonald's standing on the old site.   Progress eh!

Hilton St rehearsal rooms spring 1979. Mark Harris & Graham Briggs, Pete Bates in the background with The Sex Pistols looking on. Me thinks you've been watching too much Status Quo lads.

Two-Tone-Pinks @ Pips 1979 A very rare live colour picture of the band at Pips in Manchester during Oct 79 supporting Huddersfield band The Killermeters, one of the north's finest mod bands.
