Two-Tone-Pinks Holywell, Wales  with Run 229 & Fast Cars. Left a picture taken after the infamous Holywell gig where The Pinks and Fast Cars had a bust up deciding who should go onstage first. The Pinks conceded as the Fast Cars argued they had just released their classic single, the now very collectable "The Kids Just Wanna Dance" Despite this the The Pinks still had a good night because the caretaker stupidly asked them to look after the keys to the cellar where all the stock for the bar was kept. Yes your right  The Pinks nicked the Lot!   Sorry Mr Caretaker.

Two-Tone-Pinks 1980. Haydn Rydings (foreground) on vocals and Dave Moore playing a Washburn guitar. The bands set list at the time included, Don't Lecture Me, Straight Swap, Look But Don't Touch, and Friends, which were recorded at Cargo studios in Rochdale and all issued on The Verbal Cock Ups cassette EP in 1980.  Don't Lecture Me was also included on A Sudden Surge of Sound compilation LP on VU records and now very collectable.

Salford City Reporter 1980 Can you help? Do you have a copy of the original photo.
